All About Wild Boar
Wild boar is fed wild grasses and grains in a free range, free choice environment. This meat contains much less fat than production pork making it a good substitute for any pork dishes. However, its lower fat content means that fast cooking is necessary to retain its moisture and distinctive flavor. Like all game meats, wild boar should be cooked to medium rare to medium. Wild boar meat is known to produce white blood cells, thus enhancing your immune system. |
